Answer: I am not aware of any place in Mumbai where deaf children are trafficked and forced for work.
私は、ムンバイでろうの子ども達が売られてきて働かせられているような場所は知りません。
2. Does coronavirus have a great influence on children in India?
Answer: Yes, the children are getting affected very badly due to coronavirus as their parents have lost their jobs due to complete lock down in India. Parents don’t have money to feed the children.
インドがロックダウン状態で、親が仕事を失っていることにより、子ども達への影響はひどくなってきています。親は子供に食べさせるお金がありません。
3. How are you and your organization under the current situation?
Answer: Our Khetwadi centre is completely closed and at Kamathipura centre only residential girls are staying with 3 caregiver staff. Day care girls are not allowed to come to the centre till the lockdown is not released.
Khetwadiセンターは完全に閉鎖されており、カマティプラセンターには住み込みの女の子たちと、3人のケアスタッフのみいます。通ってくる子たちはロックダウンが解除されるまでは来ることができません。
All the beneficiaries and staff including me are safe and fine in our homes. Staff is conducting various online activities from home with the beneficiaries children and young girls.
受益者も私を含めたスタッフも家でみんな元気にしています。スタッフは家から子どもや女の子たち向けの色々なオンライン活動をやっています。
School and colleges are completely closed for indefinite time but our girls online studies are going on.
学校や大学はいつまで閉鎖されるかわかりませんが、私たちのオンライン学習は継続しています。
COVID 19 has affected our beneficiary women and children very-very badly. Since lockdown every day we are distributing breakfast to 125 needy children in the area and providing lunch and dinner food packets to 1000 women in Kamathipura area with the help of local community workers and Police officers. Very soon we will start the same in the Khetwadi area as well.

4. How is the current situation in India under the coronavirus?
Answer: The current situation of whole India is very bad. Maharashtra / Mumbai has the highest number of infections in India as a lot of people stay in a small area. As you know Mumbai is the most highly populated city of India. Maintaining social distance is not possible. We are facing serious problems as hospitals and medical facilities are very less as compared to the number of patients with infection. The infection is not under control as yet, in fact it is rising every day. People are only allowed to come out of the house for buying essentials or medicines.
インド全体の状況はとてもひどいです。マハラシュトラ州ムンバイはインドで一番感染者が多くなっています。狭い場所に人が密集しているためです。ご存じの通り、ムンバイはインドで最も人口の多い都市なので、ソーシャルディスタンスを保つのは不可能です。私たちは、感染患者の数に対して、病院や医療設備が不足している問題に直面しています。感染をまだコントロールできない状態で、感染者数は毎日増え続けています。人々は、日用品や薬を買う時だけ外出を許可されています。
